Purchase tips:

  • On the contactless devices inside the bus, select the desired ticket type: internal, 1 transition, or 2 transitions, then make the payment.
  • For multiple purchases using the same bank card, press the “+” sign after each purchase and tap the card again.
  • For Păltiniș tickets, the contactless devices on coaches are preset to the Păltiniș 1-trip ticket and require only tapping the bank card.

How to validate tickets?
Validation must always be done immediately after boarding the bus.

QR-code tickets:
Scan them at the yellow validators. The QR code must be placed at the bottom of the device; successful validation is confirmed by a green message.

If the route requires using two or more buses, the ticket must be validated in each bus. The validator will display: “Transferred from line x to line y.”
Validating the ticket in the second bus confirms boarding within the ticket’s validity period (60/75/90 minutes).
After validating in the second bus, the passenger may continue to the destination even if the validity time expires during the trip.
For multiple validations of tickets loaded on disposable cards or PVC Tursib cards, press the “+” after each validation.

The only QR codes that cannot be validated are those purchased through the 24Pay app.

Tickets without QR codes (classic):
Validated at the orange validators by inserting the paper ticket, which prints the date and time. These are validated only when boarding the first bus.

Ticket inspection
Ticket inspections are carried out by Tursib traffic inspectors, authorised by the Sibiu City Hall.

For tickets bought via the SibiuBus or 24Pay mobile apps, inspectors scan the QR code in the app using their control devices or the yellow validators.

For tickets bought from on-board contactless devices, inspection is done by tapping the bank card used for purchase on the yellow validators or the inspectors’ devices.

For tickets loaded on PVC Tursib cards or disposable Tursib cards, the card is tapped on the yellow validators or inspectors’ devices.

For 24Pay tickets, passengers show the app screen displaying the validity of the travel pass.

For classic thermal-paper tickets (without QR), passengers must show the physical ticket so inspectors can check the printed data.

Please ensure you have a valid travel pass and validate it correctly to avoid any inconvenience.
